Organization of Development Services for Distressed (ODSD) is a non-profit, non-political, Charity organisation working in the Gaibandha district since 2007. The organisation was established by the social worker who are differently involved with charity type of activities. Initially the members of the of the organisation generally donated money or relief items to the distressed people including orphans, orphanage, widows, and other distressed people. At one stage, it was felt by all the individualistic donation could not make sustainable changes. Initially the name of the Charity was "ABALAMBAN Foundation". Later in 2021, the general body with the approval of registration authority has changed the name to Organisation of Development Services for Disressed-ODSD as well as revise the bye laws of the organisation to make it better fit with the changing scenario

ODSD generally do economic and social empowerment activities the people in distressed condition. Widows, old aged, orphans, people living in humanitarian situation are the focus target group of the organisation. The organisation generally received supports individual donors, CSR fund of different corporates and international donor and charity organisations.
